Legent Health Expands in Houston

Legent North Houston Surgical Hospital completed its first surgical case May 2.

PLANO, TX – PSN Affiliates (PSN), a leading provider of surgical services through its network of facilities, announced today expansion in the Houston market. Through a strategic affiliation with Advanced Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine (AOSM), Legent North Houston Surgical Hospital (LNHSH), located in Tomball, became PSN’s third facility in Houston.

LNHSH features a fully integrated artificial intelligence (AI) operating room (OR) with robotic programs for both total joint and spine cases. The AI OR suite is the first of its kind in the Houston area and allows for faster surgeries and recoveries with better clinical outcomes for patients. LNHSH currently has 12 surgeons, 24 nursing positions, and offers total joint replacements, sports injury surgical repairs, pain procedures and injections, spine surgeries, imaging, and hand, foot, ankle, and shoulder surgeries.

“These services are in high demand for patients in North Houston. Having a facility right here in Tomball eliminates the need for commuting downtown or to other cities, allowing patients and family members to remain closer to home,” said Kathryn Jones, chief nursing officer at LNHSH. “Our physician group, AOSM, is well known in the community and has a long-standing reputation of fantastic clinical outcomes.”
